I have a flight scheduled for Wednesday Sept 5 my license will expire on Sept 1 I did renew on line but license may not be back before I fly I do have a print out of the confirmation will this be exceptable

TSA told me license is valid for I'D for 1 year past expiration.

I would call the airline directly, and go to your local DMV for an official printout to be on the safe side. That is what I would do.

License should still be valid as an ID, just not to drive. That's what DMV told me anyway when I had a similar situation .
