The dog my daughter bought one year ago from this store has thyroid disease. The Yorkie came from a puppy mill in Kansas. Laws need to be changed in every state so pet stores cannot sell puppy mill dogs! So sad in there to see the conditions of the dogs in the cages. How long can a dog occupy a cage before it's deemed not sellable, and then what happens to that dog? Where does it go if the pet store can't sell it?
Because people dont care they just see cute puppies and dont care about the consequences
Guidelines? That is a bunch of bull. Even dogs in puppy mills are required to have a blanket or some surface to step on that is not just wire. This pet store I should be shut down. It has been documented that the majority of their dogs come from puppy mills
I reported them multiple times since they are selling dogs that die days after purchase. They do not abide by their own contracts and do not care. I have witness them throwing a dead dog away in the trash.
Everything they do is within guidelines...they reduce the prices over time to assure the puppy gets a home
