We took the metro in and walked. If you don't want to or can't walk I would just take an uber.
There is parking on the street outside of the theatre but it's usually full because that is a big tourist sight.
Glad you enjoyed your visit to Ford's! For future reference, yes. Paid parking is available at several independent neighborhood garages: the 24-hour QuickPark at the Grand Hyatt (entrance on 10th Street between G and H Streets NW), the Central Parking Garage (entrance on 11th Street between E and F Streets NW), and the One Parking garage below Ford’s Theatre (at 511 10th Street, NW). There also is metered street parking on neighboring streets.
Thanks folks. I found street parking 1 block away
Our son is in a Wheelchair, and use the Metro to avoid parking issues. There are only a handful of street parking spaces. While I suspect that there may be garage parking in neighboring blocks, it would me expensive.
There's street parking but I agree with taking an uber.
Would uber or taxi, limited parking.
street parking only. get there early and you might find a spot. I would park somewhere and take the Metro. that is what we did. many other things to see in the area.
