Well Charlotte ( btw, love the name, same as my protagonist in my third novel) everything, give yourself at least three hours and that's only if you're a speed reader, there's a lot of info there and you also have to consider the crowd. As a writer I especially appreciate the ceiling-high book collection in the gift store. I hope you enjoy 👍🏾

It takes about 30 minutes to tour the civil war museum, about 45 minutes for the presentation in the theater. The museum after that, across the street where Lincoln was taken after he was shot, can take whoever long you want. I was there for about an hour.

The tour takes a little over an hour, but you can take your time and move at your own pace, they don't rush you through, was more like an open house.

I would plan for 1 to 2 hours. Depending on your questions for the local rangers that are available and your speed at reading all the displays.
