I recently took an oath to become a US citizen but still have a valid Philippine Passport. Do I still have to apply for a dual citizenship? (by the way I was born in the philippines and have a filipino parents)

Yes , once you're done an oath to be a us citizen your ph passport is already void . So once you apply for dual citizenship in ph consulate and you like to have ph passport again you need to get a new one.
