Why is there no facility where you can turn in found kittens or dogs in Richmond area? Don't the county pounds euthanize quickly if not claimed or rescued by groups like yours?

Richmond Animal Care and Control will take in abandoned animals. I believe there is a small fee. They will not euthanize.

You can take them to animal control. They try to locate the owners if they can't be found there are several rescues including ours that pull animals daily from the the local shelters.
