You will need to obtain your title from New Jersey. Once you have the NJ title, you will be able to transfer it to FL.

Like Carolyln I would try the last place you had it registered in. You may also be able to go to the motor vehicles web site and get a new one there. When I bought my car and paid for it in cash I got a digital registration. Used ther website and ordered a paper one to put in my safe for a small charge.

My mom is having the same issue and they told her you have to apply from the state it is registered in currently. So for you it would be New Jersey
