I was there a little over a month ago the people are nice I made a few acquaintances there is no hookups there's a chemical toilet and no mosquitoes two-and-a-half 1/2 Weeks it's a first-come-first-serve campground there's probably maybe 10 to 12 sites half of those are on the lake it's a nice Campground if you like peace and quiet it costs $2 a night I plan on going back there in February for about a week I saw a ranger there everyday driving past I don't have a problem with that
I have camped there for well over 40 years, yup there has been bad people there .Also a Boy Scout troop,Sherriff Deputy friend (local) a church group amda y of us snow birds. No hooks only a vault toilet . Sometimes there is a host ,not always . I eas there a couple months ago ,great people helped me out.
Its loaded with destitute campers. Sheriff's continually asking for ids. Pit toilet at one end of camp. With boat ramp. Other wise it is a swamp with all the bugs. Humidity , humidity and more opressive humidity. And ticks and snakes.. especially water moccasins.. enjoy.
The campsites are very nice and on the lake. There are no hookups at all and just pit toilets, campfire rings and picnic table.
Every one is right on their comments. They say it all...
