Yes, but I did see some signs about no food and drink allowed near some exhibits. I just waited until I was away from the exhibits to drink my water.

Yes, but they will not allow you to drink nor eat near exhibits only on the enter/exit floor or in the cafeteria

They have no food or drink signs posted outside even before you enter the museum.

No, I don't think so. Even at the cafeteria in the building there is a sign noting you can't even take food or beverages beyond the cafeteria.
