I'm here visiting from N.Y. and headed to the museum today. What's my best parking option for 10:30 this morning?

Patking is very bad. It's best to park anywhere else and walk. We were on a tour bus.

Yes..Ronald Regan is most convenient due to the location and secure parking. Plus the interior of the Ronald Regan building is worth seeing.

I took a Lyft, it ended up being cheaper than the metro for the time of day

You can take the train into Washington Union Station walk to E Street and Columbus Circle NE get on the bus for Lincoln Memorial it's 3 stops to Madison Dr and 12th Street NW then walk 1400 Constitution Ave NW. In all it will take 3 hours to get there

Parking is a nightmare your best bet is to take the orange/blue/silver line to federal triangle and walk 2 blocks.
