I want to bring a thirteen year old Ethiopian American to the museum when she visits the end of this month. I am a military vet and so is my husband. I understand the two of us can take one individual in with us and just walk in; is this correct?

The Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture has changed its admission rules: Veterans no longer need to obtain passes in advance. Instead show your ID (active duty, retired, veteran) and you can enter the museum along with two (2) guests!

Yeah, I was just there last Thursday (Feb 22nd). The lady at the door told me vets can go in at any time, on any day. Not sure in terms of how many additional people but think you can bring at least a couple. The lady at the door asked if I had any guest along but I didn't. Just go to the door, show your ID, and walk on in.
