Yes, they are fairly strict because crowds are quite large. I dont think you have to be there exactly on time but don't be too late.

We went on a Saturday, had a ticket and they did not even require the ticket. Our group of 7 walked right in.

We didn't have tickets and were able to walk right in. I think it is random but no, you don't.

For this museum I suggest earlier than the ticket stated time because they may let you in and there is so much to see. If you're gonna be later ... no more than 15 minutes!

You have a window of time to get inside. Also they have a free day extra crowded
