Are blood worms used for all the types of fish or cut bait? Do you bottom fish or what when you are fishing at Ft Smallwood? What's the recommended line lbs to use at Ft Smallwood.? I went out to Ft Smallwood today to see if anyone was fishing, but no luck. How do you fish for rock fish at Ft Smallwood?
I haven't seen anyone fishing from the shore, but there might be someone fishing from a boat. This is late December.
This was great. White perch are available there.
This time of the year ( end of December) not that great. Most fish (striped bass) are south towards the mouth of the bay. All depends on weather and water temp though. You could probably find some white perch around through the winter here. Hope this helps.
Rockfish are still around .. if the days are around the high 40's to the mid 50's... I have caught my share.. May take awhile, but HELL beats sitting at home wondering what if.
