Short 3-5m BWI/AMTRAK shuttle ride. Check Amtrak schedule for Roanoke destination with Amtrak from Bwi. Amtrak is a comfortable ride. When you arrive at BWI just look for BWI AMTRAK/MARC shuttle stops outside baggage claim. They come a bbn out every 10 minutes

There are roughly 15 minute buses between the airport loop and the Amtrak rail station. They are free.

The train is 2 miles from the airport. There is a parking garage there

I agree with the answer provided previously. The Amtrak station at BWI (after you take the shuttle from outside baggage claim ) is under construction. There are signs but they can be confusing.
