Screen is bigger, sound is louder and surrounds you. It's a very immersive feeling. It's amazing for your senses and heightens the feelings you get

IMAX is all about the sound. However if you happen to go see a IMAX 3D movie it will be in 3D and have the amazing IMAX sound.
