in my experience after I left two cameras for repair they did communicate with me by email to explain the cost and procedure and get my approval before doing the repairs and afterwards they emailed me when the repairs were complete so I could pick up my cameras
I'm not aware of email being an efficient way to communicate with repairs. But, you can check the website or call. This is a Google forum, Tempe Camera doesn't moderate this. Good luck.
