I can't remember exactly but I believe that it would be somewhere between 60 to $100. However, you can go to the Rockingham County shelter and get this service for less than $20.
It can cost about $190 for a female cat, maybe a little less for a male. Half of that is for the surgery, half for the required vaccines like rabies. They won't operate unless the pet has had their shots. There is no financial assistance here, but if you search online and call and ask shelters, you might could find a very low cost spay/neuter event to take the pet to.
