Made me bring a birth certificate. 48 years old, & licensed to drive in Texas for 29 years. So birth certificate, passport, or current military ID if applicable. The Federal ID Law is now being applied, hence the change. Once one of the above is scanned into the Texas database, "supposedly" ... you'll never have to worry about it again. I renewed my Texas license, with the above issues in November of 2019.
Proof of residency, identification, and about $35.
