Hello Dr. Romanowski,
I had a partial knee replacement done six years ago by Dr. Repicci and have been taking an antibiotic prior to dental work and I'd like to stop due to reactions.
What is the current recommendation for prophylaxis ?

The current recommendation is to take Antibiotics before dental work for the first two years after implant surgery.

I had total knee replacement in November 2019 and I was told 2 years. You may want to contact the office to confirm.
