I need to get a certified and stamped birth certificate for my son. How can I do this?

If your child was born in Dupage County, you must go to the Jack T. Knuepfer Admin Bldg, 421 N County Farm Rd, Wheaton, IL 60187 and speak with the DuPage County Clerk. They will ask you to fill out a paper form with your information, your son's information, and provide acceptable ID. Birth Certificates cost $14 for the first copy, and $2 per copy for any additional copies at the time of visit. I paid cash for two copies. They print the birth certificate(s) within a few minutes. I went in on a Monday around noon and was out of there within 15 minutes.
