Don't travel at night time in this town! They will pull you over for a license plate light out even though there is one. Follow you for over 10 traffic lights, travel with all lights off in their cruiser. Then make you get out of your car walk your own paperwork to the patrol car, and call the K9 in when you trip. Break your luggage then write all incorrect demographics on warning citation after holding you for over 30 minutes. K9 crew is nice but other officer a joke! Try to call in to have officer talked to because sorry I have anxiety and told nothing they can do because I live too far away to come into their office! What a joke! Avoid this county at all cost if you are from out of town!

10 day psych hold for missing 1 zoom court date for a misdemeanor case that's been ongoing for a year. This state has has completely lost it. 37 yrs old Illinois resident my entire life and it's felt like prison. I regret ever doing anything for my communities here. What is the point of police if they don't do anything when a child is endangered??? I called to inform them about a person going to pick up a child while on ALOT of painkillers and expressed how concerned I was for the child. They then told me since the child wouldn't be picked up for another hour I would need to call back. IT TAKES YOU AN HOUR TO RESPOND ANYWAYS?!?! What's the difference?? Clearly, they will sleep just fine at night knowing it wasn't their child that was being out in danger. SUCH A JOKE!
