You need a placard from the DMV during a pandemic. How long do you have to live? In order to enter the waiting room you need to be on a list, but you can only get on the if you arrive between 8 am & noon and you can't sign up today for service tomorrow even though you are here today. Once you are on the list the DMV will get to you within 2 hours (could be 30 minutes could be 120 minutes), but you only have 15 minutes to show up if you miss the window you may have to get back on the list unless it is afternoon in which case you would then have to come in the following day between 8am & noon.
