I am getting a start error code on the dash cluster. Took it to a Mercedes certified shop and the did a hard reset and I was able to start it twice then went back to start error. Please help.

Yeah, I would agree with both of you before me on this issue ..... but you can also check with a good independent shops as well as longest they have the factory communication system for you're Mercedes..... good luck

Doing a reset on the first occurrence is fine, but like others have stated, if it recurs, then definitely take it to an authorized/trustworthy repair shop. Some errors can cause dangerous situations, especially since yours appears related to the starter sub-system.

For all modern vehicles... If the error code comes back, that means there is indeed a problem. Please fix/repair, not keep resetting :)
