I think the food is a little pricey but high quality. Sandwiches are $7 - $8, side and drink not included. Coffee is reasonable.
Im not sure if youre talking about food or beer, but I think the prices for both are pretty reasonable. I'd say the beer (drafts) is cheaper than local breweries.
Considering they make nearly everything from scratch, I think they could charge a lot more for food... Especially when compared to other similar types of markets.

Considering the Common Market is more bar than restaurant I'd say the food is good and prices are in line with other bars.
Beer prices are between 5 and 7 dollars. They are always rotating new beers on tap. Smokey Joe's has better prices, however.
