One of the questions you answer at the kiosk is "Do you or do you not have an appointment?" You can call SS and either wait a long while on hold or leave your phone number and they return the call to set an appointment time. You still have to wait on the line at the office but once inside they call you quickly with an appointment. Without one, it could be a 3-4 hour wait...Good luck!

I don't think you make an appointment. I went there a few times and there was a line in the hallway, but it moved pretty quickly. If you get there at 8 they open the doors around 8:30. When you go in there is a kiosk where you punch in your information and while you're there, and you get a number. Depending on what you need it may be fast or slow. There are a lot of windows.
