I have an issue with my social security card, I called and I was told I couldn't just walk in, that I needed to make an appointment to receive help, which I was given as soon as told them my situation, I when on the time and day that I was told security guard checked my name at the door before I was allowed in.
You have to call your local area SSN office for that
