Are newspapers, magazines considered to be white paper? A brief description of what products are considered to be white paper and what products go into mixed paper? I assume no cardboard is included as white paper even if very clean.

The only materials accepted in the white paper bin at the Recycling Center is white office paper (printer paper), white envelopes, and white shredded paper. All other paper products, magazines newspapers, and colored paper should be be put in the mixed paper bin. All cardboard should be recycled in the corrugated cardboard bin.

Newspapers & magazines go into mixed paper. White paper is pretty much just what it sounds like, office papers, etc. Just white paper with printing & maybe envelopes. Cardboard goes into it's own bins, the last three bins on the west side.
