Heck yes!! Every year I go with a group of people. The best times to go down are the end of June, till the middle of July. If u got after the middle of July the water is lower than normal and you'll get stuck a lot. So try to go between those days I mentioned. Have a blast.

Yes. There are several companies that lease tubing equipment in the park and in the area. I'm not sure if you need a permit to bring in personal equipment

I have never been tubing in Zion, and don't know if it is prohibited. But we were there on the 6th of July this year and there was a lady tubing down the river. She broke her ankle and was carried out by two park rangers. They didn't give her any guff about tubing in the park. Maybe they felt sorry for her or maybe it is okay.

You can tube down the Virgin River outside Zion, but it's prohibited in the park itself. Check out the nps website for more details
