Hallo! Thanks for the questions & answers! "National Comic Book Day" is September 25th, and most people don't know about it. What the responses here have been referring to is "Free Comic Book Day" which is the 1st Saturday of May, every year. The Comic Book Shop hosts a 2-day event for the whole First Weekend of May; We also host a weekend-long, free comic giveaway & sale event during Halloween! It's also true that we frequently are able to offer other free samplers all year long. Hope to see you soon ~ Sarah
