The place is dirty and so uncomfortable especially news trying to detox. The beds are 2 in pads that hurt. Everything in the dorm rooms smell like nasty old cigarette smoke from people sneaking smoking, they blow the smoke in the air ducts vents, paper towel holders in rooms and even in the room or bathroom not caring about the other patients. The staff isn’t allowed to bring patients outside

Yes u just have to ask
Yes it's normal
I would leave a message for your son; saying if he is there to reach out to you. And put you as the emergency contact. Or call again sometimes youll get someone more sympathetic.

All you need is what you got on and proof of ID if you don't have an ID don't worry about it they can still take you win
Yes they deal with alcoholism. Xanax. . any mind altering drug.
Your not there to judge anyone! As long as you are getting the proper treatment is all that should matter to you. I don't think your ready to get clean yet because thou are focusing on other people when you need tio focus pin yourself.
No, it's your choice whether you take the maintenance drug. They only give Subutex. no methadone.
I believe they will not give you subutex if there is methadone in your system, they will give volume and a couple other pills to help though (at least thats how they did it 4 years ago) rockford is definitely a more comfortable place to detox over Kirkwood
No. I suggest Brandywine counseling or Connections for methadone. If you go to NET with methadone in your system they will admit you but will NOT give you subutex, which is what will help withdrawal
Depends on the doctor's orders or detox protocol that you are put on. It depends on a bunch of things. Please call the number and tell them you'd like to be admitted and see what you need to do.
3 days minimum; state program usually picks up insurance tab. Inpatient program good. Outpatient...not so much.
