It is a small museum, and there are a few benches for people to rest. I highly recommend it.

Yes directly across the street from the museum it is a rather big parking lot
The walking is at a minimum. As said, there are places to rest. Do not forget to go upstairs and see the history of 18th and 19th century travel.
