Amelia, it's hard to see the falls from Phoenix but being a native Idahoan if the Snake is running high, the falls are probably gorgeous. Pack a picnic lunch and enjoy the day.
We were there yesterday and they were at full force
We went yesterday and it was higher than I everything seen! It's completely full and get time to visit. Not crowded at all on weekdays during the day.

The water level was high last week. The falls are very powerful right now.
The falls are gushing but I would plan on visiting earlier in the day. It's almost 7pm right now and I'm guessing they will close soon.
