Wilson Island is open, however recovery from the flood of 2018 continues. Campsite selection is very limited. The boat ramp and pit toilets are open. Drinking water is not available. Campers may camp up to 14 consecutive nights in an Iowa state park/recreation area. Campers must then vacate the park (including removing the camping unit) for a minimum of 3 nights before camping in that park again.
