Not sure if they let you in a certain area to pick up since it costs to get in the gate. I haven't done that before. They do have free gate admission tickets at several places in town. So if you were going to pick someone up you could just use the ticket if they wanted you to pay. I got mine at Casey's on 48th just north of Pioneers. They way you wouldn't be out any money. :)
