Wakonda is a coop family campground. Several of the owners do rent their site for a week at a time. There is a boat launch on the south end of Schroon Lake about a mile from the campground and the fishing in schroon is decent. The us also a facebook site for Wakonda where you can get more info on who rents their sites.
Not a public campground. It is a co-op. Fishing in private lake, catch and release, only electric motor
