Ian Ballantyne. The Saint Tammany Humane Society is a no-kill shelter. It's one of the reasons that before you surrender a pet you have to call them and make arrangements because since there no kill a lot of the time they are full at capacity
I have a 8 month pitbull that I want to release!!!!
They may take her, it's worth a try. But if they are full they won't be able to take her.
Actually, St Tammany Humane Society is a "no kill" shelter.
You can bring the dog here, yes. However, if they dont find a home, she will be put down.
Give them a call and speak to someone in adoptions. That department knows if there is space.
You can surrender her to them but its no guarantee they can find her a home your best choice is to either post on social media or german sheppard rescue me
