Today We stop by U-Haul to take our stuff from the storage and also we needed a truck to move our stuff and this lady (Selma) asked three different numbers from us to confirm that it’s safe to rent us the car which was very discriminating.

They do that to everyone. It's in their written policy. They aren't being discriminatory they're being thorough.

I think it's their policy. I had to give 3 working numbers . I rented the van and returned it with no problems. So it's not discrimination.

It is a PITA! I was also concerned because when they instituted this policy it was my 3rd truck rental AND I already rent a large storage unit! And when I couldn't verify both alternate numbers because my wife couldn't or wouldn't answer the phone, the whole rental was in jeopardy.
