This is not a place to ask questions of the company, but of other shoppers. Just like the reviews are not from the company, but their patrons. When you return a defective item they replace it and refund your money.
Receipt and item. Obviously some things, like frozen foods or meat, are not returnable.
This is a question for the company, me personally I have exchanged items with no problem just had my receipt.
