I have a 1989 F250 pick up truck with commercial plates. Does this truck still require inspection? Some shops are saying it does not.

It depends on the weight class of the truck

This is not true. If it's gasoline it gets inspected for safety only since it's registered commercial. QQ plates can go on regular vehicles that are 25 years old.

No, cars over 20 years old no longer require historic plates to go without inspection . CONGRATS!
