Why do they sell si3 clarity diamond rings that are a known scan and not an actual clarity rating? It's just trying to sneak a flawed I1 into a si. Only shady places do this, right?

You know this store BROWNLEE has been around this area for a long time. My mother would shop there for alot of her jewelry, every piece i inherited are a fine and exquisite piece, worth more now than when she bought it..I think Brownlee is a very reputable place in Charlotte. πŸ’πŸ“ΏπŸ’ŽπŸ‘

Spiral Smile, Thank you for your inquiry regarding the process of diamond grading. The SI3 clarity grading is an acceptable grade throughout the jewelry world with many USA grading companies recognizing and using this grading for stones that fall in a unique place between the GIA established grades of I1 and SI2. At Brownlee Jewelers, we seek to provide the best and most varied jewelry shopping experience in the Charlotte area, so we offer diamonds from many grading companies that fall in all ranges. This allows us to meet the needs and preferences of every customer that walks through our doors!
