How do I make a donation by mail? Last year I sent a check to the street address and it was returned. The shelter does not answer the phone very effectively. I have called several times today.

Hi Margina, our mailing address is CHHS, P.O. Box 638, Cashiers, NC 28717. The U.S. Postal Service does not deliver mail to our physical location in Sapphire. And to add to your inconvenience -- for which we greatly apologize! -- the gas company cut our phone line and we currently do not have working phones at the shelter. We appreciate your support and we truly apologize for the difficulty in reaching us.
