Seems to me this business,. Is more puppy mill than a humane society. The application process is beyond ridiculous, the policies of this" business" are geared to generate proceeds, hardly a non profit. I will never recommend this business to anyone. My best advice visit a shelter that truely has the best interest of the animals in mind, instead of the bank account of the prospective owners

Wonderful facility and people running it who are so caring for the animals. The place is clean and the staff members and volunteers are very kind. And most helpful. I am very happy with the beautiful, sweet cat I just adopted last week.

Hi Margina, our mailing address is CHHS, P.O. Box 638, Cashiers, NC 28717. The U.S. Postal Service does not deliver mail to our physical location in Sapphire. And to add to your inconvenience -- for which we greatly apologize! -- the gas company cut our phone line and we currently do not have working phones at the shelter. We appreciate your support and we truly apologize for the difficulty in reaching us.
You can check their website, and yes they do have some little dogs, or call 743-5259,that way you want waste your time driving.
