I think April would be a good time to visit. The tea leaves are just starting to grow, but the tour focuses on more than just harvesting. It's a wonderful place to visit, especially in the spring.
There's never a bad time to visit... it's Charleston 🙂
Do note that tea cutting and production season hasn't begun yet as of beginning of April. I think it is late in the month that they start that. If you want to see the factory running check first for the day / time you will go.
bring a picnic lunch.....a great spot after your tour
