Any appraisal done on a vehicle by Carmax is good for seven days, after seven days they will re-appraise the vehicle to make sure there were no changes to the vehicle. 30 days is not the answer, never has been never will be.
It's 30 days. As long as nothing changes too much...ie...mileage, etc. It shouldn't change your estimate after that too much.
They are only good for 7 days. We were told that there system updates every 7 days when you have the appraisal of your car that you want to sale to them or trade it in. I hope this answers your question.
