I recommend South Metro Training Facility in Edina. Bloomington, Eden Prairie, Edina police and fire train there. EXCELLENT facility with superb personnel. I took my handgun safety and permit-to-carry classes there and highly recommend this site. The range is the best I've seen anywhere: clean, safe, well-staffed.
The best price in MN is Plane Cents in Waconia. I liked the course but some other people wrote bad reviews.

The one question not being asked, is, for me, the most important.... Where are you located? What town? The relative proximity of the facility is, by far, the most prominent aspect, when I need to retake my class(es). I happen to use the the Gun Range in Mound, which has classes available; it's cheap, and easy for me to get to. Dave
