If you try to put it on the front you WILL TEAR OFF your front quarter panel from turning. On the back everytime you hit a bump. You will tear up rear bearings axles fender wells ect. Personally I wouldn't if I was you. Oh oh and you can get them on you have to undo the shocks to get them on good luck with that I wouldn't do it.
From a tire perspective, the new tire you mention will be wider and higher than a 225/45 18. Not sure about fit.
They do not. I have had the same thing happen to me. They did give me a contact number of someone who does repair curb rash. About 180/rim depending on how bad the damage is.
