Website rejects 1099-MISC because I put $0 in State Tax info area. Florida has no state tax; therefore, I paid no state tax and the Payer had no State Tax Number. How can I complete inputting the information? This should be simpler.

You should enter information from any tax document EXACTLY as it appears on the paperwork. The Feds know that Florida does not have a state income tax. You're lucky folks!

If there is a blank or "zero" on a line, do not enter anything into the program. Putting a zero makes the form read incorrectly more often than not
