Shots are not like anaesthesia, u can eat. Im surprised u didnt get info from them.
Nothing to eat 8 hours before just in case your nauseated after the shot, they don't want you throwing up. Also make sure you have a ride, you can not operate a motor vehicle after the shot. Then home for some r&r and 12 hours later you should be ready to get back to your normal routine. Absolutely no IBUPROFEN 12 hours before!!!! They are wonderful, I've been a patient for over 10 years and they keep me pain free. Good luck.
I had a shot there and I was told 7 hours because mine was at 2 so I couldn't have anything after 7 I had a cervical shot. Just my experience not a medical pefesonal. And I couldn't take certain medications so I would check with them
