I am so sad. I specified I wanted to keep my hair’s length, but wanted to add some layers. I didn’t even want a trim off of the longest layers. The stylist was incredibly nice, but she proceeded to cut a good 6 inches off (and that’s just from what ended up being the longest layer). My hair was past my chest and now its barely past my collarbone. I am so upset and frustrated. If I truly had 6 inches of dead ends, I wish she would have discussed this with me before cutting them all off. I didn’t freak out because I thought it would get a little longer after going home and washing out the tighter-than-usual curls, but it didn’t. It’s really a well done haircut, but for someone who wanted a majorly shortened cut- not for someone who has intentionally grown their hair out for years and just wanted a little layering. I really wish there had been more respect paid toward what I said I did and didn’t want, or communicative honesty if the stylist felt like I needed something different for the health of my hair. It will probably take me a year if not multiple years to get back to my original length. I truly wish everyone here well, but I will not be returning.

FINALLY......I have been searching so long for a stylist who can cut curly hair correctly and Jami is not only polite and professional but ABSOLUTELY can handle the curly hair mystery lol She listens, gently advises and then works her magic on the layers, which is the true art of curly hair. After only one cut (and my hair was a mess) my curls look healthy and are laying in perfectly blended layers. Could not be happier, and so glad I found her. It takes a lot to impress me after all these years and just WOW! THANK YOU JAMIE FOR GIVING ME BACK MY CURLS :))))))))))))))))

Coming here and getting my hair trimmed neatly was like a dream! I'm absolutely ecstatic with how my hair came out; I've got curly hair that comes out all in ringlets, and in the past when I've visited hair salons, my hair has come out looking disastrous. It's only been a handful of occasions when I've gone in to a salon for a professional trim and didn't leave with my curls destroyed in a frizzy mess. But I just last week got my hair trimmed here by April, and I walked out feeling like an absolute doll! I was so nervous, but everyone here was so sweet and kind to me. For once, I'm actually looking forward to my next hair cut! April absolutely knew what she was doing, and gave me a lot of advice on how to style my hair so I can continue to get neat but soft curls - and it worked! I thought it would end up a bit strange since I also wanted bangs that could look good both when straightened or left curly, and I've honestly never had bangs like these before! My previous bangs only looked good when straightened, and I would only ever go out with them either ironed or pinned back, but the way April cut them crops my bangs to just the right length where they curl up in the most darling way! I just adore it so much, they're so cute! I really recommend April for if you're looking for a place and you have curly hair, she eyeballed everything just right, and I'm truly stunned!

Jami is the best! I have been going to her for at least 10 years and now my, mom, husband, mother-in- law and sister all go to her too!! She is an amazing colorist. She does my balayage and it looks so natural and pretty. I always get compliments on my blonde color and the way that she does the balayage makes the grow out/ roots look so natural and seamless! I definitely recommend Jami for any color needs!
