If Billie Jean King is the icon of “equal pay for equal play” why do men have to play the best out of 5 sets to get the same prize money as the woman that only have to play the best out of 3 sets?

I totally agree. I think Serena had expressed in the past that she would play 3 out of 5. There has been debate about it dont know if it will happen at least no time soon.
